New7Wonders announced Oct. 31, 2026, that it had activated the platform for 7 Wonders of Future Cities, a global campaign inviting voters to select urban developments for international recognition.

New Clark City in the Philippines hosted the launch ceremony on World Cities Day. Jean-Paul de la Fuente, New7Wonders director and campaign chairman, led the platform’s activation, the organization said.

The voting page lists more than 260 participants. It instructs each voter to select exactly seven cities or developments and says each person may vote once; the page provides an email verification link. The campaign site says the 77 highest-polling entries will qualify for a Phase 3 longlist.

New7Wonders’ launch release said voting had opened Oct. 31, but the page schedules Phase 2, labeled “Public Vote,” for November 2026 through April 2027. The date valid ballots first counted is unverified. The release describes a year of worldwide participation, while the page gives Phase 2 a six-month window and does not date Phase 3.

The campaign’s FAQ presents the selection as a way for the public to signal which urban projects it sees as models for how cities may evolve. New7Wonders says participating places may gain international recognition. It groups entries under Environmental & Nature, Smart City and Human-Centric development themes.

New7Wonders says Global Platform Limited, its Dubai-based licensing and commercial arm, organizes the campaign. The organization says its earlier campaigns generated more than 600 million votes combined. It schedules the announcement of seven winners for Oct. 31, 2027; the campaign information page identifies that date as World Cities Day 2027.
