The Office for National Statistics published its April-to-June 2026 UK public service productivity release on Nov. 6, offering a short-term indicator intended to inform annual productivity estimates.
The release covers UK total public service productivity, inputs and output. The ONS describes the quarterly series as a timely, short-term indicator for annual productivity estimates and labels the figures “official statistics in development.”
The ONS lists February 2027 as the next release.
The voluntary survey gathers responses every two weeks and covers company finances, workers, prices, trading and resilience.
The measures cover fuel demand, energy prices, jobs, transport, retail and housing. The next release is scheduled for Nov. 12.
The estimates cover ITL 1 and ITL3 areas, with a split between EU and non-EU service trade. The next release date has not been announced.
