CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 29, 2017 -- Dr. Kevin Prime, DC, has recently joined the chiropractic team at Omni Wellness Center. Dr. Prime is a native of Trinidad and Tobago, a sports enthusiast, and received his doctorate from the Sherman College of Chiropractic. His expertise in sports-related and trauma-induced injuries and knowledge of the latest chiropractic techniques, paired with his interest in exercise and nutrition will help patients address a range of injuries and issues. The team is excited to introduce Dr. Kevin Prime and his approach towards chiropractic care to the patients at Omni Wellness Center.
Dr. Kevin Prime, DC graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and in Chemistry from Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina before receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic from the Sherman College of Chiropractic. He is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the North Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is a member of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association. Born in the Caribbean Island of Trinidad and Tobago, he came to the US to further his studies in 2003. A well-rounded student, he excelled in track and field, with his sprinting track and field records at GWC still unbroken. Dr. Prime has played sports all of his life and saw how important it was to maintain his health through exercise and nutrition and its impact on his own health. He believes that chiropractic care helps maximize potential by removing interference in the central nervous system and complements exercise and healthy living efforts.
