The synopsis for “A Wondrous Place” posted on TV Guide reads, “Hook's (Colin O’Donoghue) trapped in another realm along with the Nautilus' crew, so Regina (Lana Parilla) and Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) try to get Emma's (Jennifer Morrison) mind off of Hook's disappearance.
Meanwhile, in a flashback, Jasmine (Karen David) befriends Ariel (Joanna Garcia Swisher) and they search for Prince Eric (Gil McKinney) as the threat from Jafar (Oded Fehr) intensifies.”
According to Cartermatt, episode 15 is expected to feature the return of ‘Aladdin’ characters Jasmine and Aladdin considering that the episode’s title is part of the lyrics of the film’s signature song “A Whole New World.” Their presence in the episode may be linked to the Savior mythology.
Jasmine is set to befriend Ariel as they begin their search for Prince Eric with the impending threat of Jafar close by. The promo hints of an alliance between Jasmine and Aladdin alongside Hook as they figure out a way to bring him back home after Gideon (Giles Matthey) caused some trouble for Nemo’s ship. Hook says, “Every moment I stay here is killing me.”
Meanwhile, Regina and Snow do everything they can to help Emma cope with Hook’s disappearance by helping distract her from worrying over him. It seems that Emma believes Hook has abandoned her because of his guilt. In the promo, Emma tells Regina and Snow, “I need to move on.”
