Ondo Finance has brought seven tokenized investment portfolios to the Solana network, widening access for eligible investors outside the United States to products previously offered on Ethereum and BNB Chain.
Each portfolio packages economic exposure to multiple assets in one onchain token. Ondo says holders can view portfolio holdings onchain, while smart contracts apply allocation and rebalancing rules set in advance. The offerings span income, growth and thematic strategies. Three are Ondo High Income, Ondo High Growth and Ondo Diversified Growth, using strategies developed by BlackRock. Others cover the Magnificent Seven alongside crypto, AI leaders and targeted income.
Access is limited to eligible investors in jurisdictions where Ondo permits the products. Users who mint or redeem tokens through the platform must complete identity verification and anti-money-laundering checks. Ondo’s disclosures describe the tokens as separate securities issued by the company that provide economic exposure without giving holders a direct claim to the underlying funds or securities.
BlackRock supplied model strategies for three portfolios. Ondo says the asset manager does not run the portfolios, choose the tokens for investors, promote them or advise holders. Its disclosures also flag fees that some underlying funds pay to BlackRock affiliates as a potential conflict of interest.
Ondo’s release said the portfolios exceeded $40 million in TVL across Ethereum and BNB Chain combined during their first four weeks. Its Oct. 29 blog reported $45 million in the initial weeks.
Nick Ducoff, Solana Foundation GM, Institutional, said investors could “hold a complete portfolio in one token.” Ondo says it plans to add more portfolios but has not announced a timetable.
