Luffy hasn’t really been threatened yet since he first stepped foot on Wano Country, but that changed in the current chapter as Kaido finally noticed his presence. It was exciting to see Luffy pummel Kaido until the Yonko transformed back into his regular form, but the difference in strength had never been clearer as Kaido knocked the captain of the Straw Hats unconscious with a single blow from his club. What is going to happen to Luffy in “One Piece” Chapter 924?
Well, one of the most popular theories that have been circulating on the internet is likely going to come true in “One Piece” Chapter 924. As speculated by a lot of fans, Luffy is going to be captured by Kaido and he will probably meet fellow Worst Generation pirate Eustass Kid in jail.
Of course, it is possible that Trafalgar Law may help Luffy escape with his Ope Ope no Mi Devil Fruit powers, but the captain of the Heart Pirates has always been a deliberate tactician so he won’t do anything rash (unlike Luffy). Instead, Law will likely retreat. After all, they can always rescue Luffy later.
Anyhow, the captain of the Kid Pirates has been missing since Basil Hawkins betrayed him and joined Kaido, so this is the perfect time to reintroduce him in the manga. It will be interesting to see if Luffy can convince Kid to join the alliance against Kaido and Orochi.
As seen in the current chapter, Tama and Lady Speed didn’t get away from the city in time, but Sanji, Nami, Chopper, Brook and the rest are probably safe and they will probably head to the Heart Pirates’ base in “One Piece” Chapter 924. Shutenmaru is a wild card at the moment, but it will be nice to see him join the alliance since he doesn’t seem to like Kaido.
