Epic stories are no strangers to the heroes being the reason why catastrophic events are set into motion, with the Straw Hats being a good example of that. In “One Piece” Episode 887, it will be revealed that Luffy might have been the catalyst to an event that is about to swallow the world. The future pirate king will essentially carve his way towards that thrown in a sea of dead bodies and blood.
The title of “One Piece” Episode 887 is going to be “An Explosive Situation! Two Emperors of the Sea Going After Luffy!” Inquistr reports, and it is going to be a momentous one. As far as developments in the Reverie arc goes, this episode will certainly make the whole thing worthwhile. To start with, it will involve Big Mom informing Kaido that she will be the one to kill Luffy and to get out of her way.
Kaido shot back and warned his fellow pirate emperor not to set foot in Wano, or he will kill her. A battle between these two powerful forces is bad enough. However, “One Piece” Episode 887 is going to include a scene that is expected to shape the future of the franchise and set off an invasion. Shanks will basically appear before the elders running the show and talk to them about “a certain pirate.”
As to who this pirate is, it still remains to be seen, but many are speculating that it is either about Blackbeard or Luffy. The information he will give them will likely cause the elders to push for a move in Wano, which could mean outright invasion. This could then imply that “One Piece” Episode 887 is where the fuse for the final battle in the franchise will be lit.
Quite a few other topics will be discussed in “One Piece” Episode 887, as well. For the rest of them, viewers will simply have to wait until June 2 to watch them.
