The last time manga readers saw Law, he was being tortured and was a captive of Kaido's men led by Hawkins. But the tables will turn in "One Piece" chapter 954 as Law finally gets the upper hand.
It appears that Law's plans were simply to defeat Hawkins in combat. Even though it may seem uneventful, the leaked scans of "One Piece" chapter 954 show he is successful. Now, it is Law's time to interrogate Hawkins.
Hawkins will finally confirm in "One Piece" chapter 954 that he only joined the Beasts Pirates to survive. It can be recalled that he and Kid were prisoners of Kaido even before the Wano arc began. Though Hawkins decided to change allegiance for survival, Kid endured being in prison.
Leaked spoilers also reveal that Hawkins learned Apoo had been working with Kaido all along. Apoo only allied with Hawkins and Kid to serve as an insider for the Yonko. The events of "One Piece" chapter 954 will certainly dictate the course of the story arc. The endgame is to oust Kaido and Orochi and reclaim Wano under the leadership of the Kozuki clan.
