“One Piece” chapter 959 will pick up from a massive cliffhanger that showed the Straw Hats and other allies of the Nine Red Scabbards seemingly lost and ambushed. However, series creator Eiichiro Oda loves surprising his readers after building up a huge mystery. So there could be other possibilities regarding the whereabouts of the Straw Hats and other members of the alliance.
‘One Piece’ chapter 959 predictions: Tokage Port ‘ambush’ was staged to intentionally isolate the Scabbards?
The Scabbards appear to be facing a huge dilemma ahead of “One Piece” chapter 959. They arrived at the Tokage Port in Udon without anyone from their army of 4,000 at the meeting place. Kanjuro pointed out there were signs that an ambush happened that leads to the most obvious conclusion that Luffy and the others were attacked.
Kin’emon also cannot contact anyone, including Luffy, Law, and Hyogoro, because the smail seems to be malfunctioning amid the storm. But all these could also be just a red herring and will be followed by a big revelation in “One Piece” chapter 959.
One of the most interesting theories about “One Piece” chapter 959 is that the “ambush” at Tokage and the missing allies might have been staged. Some believe that Luffy and the others intentionally isolated the Scabbards upon realizing that a traitor working for Orochi has infiltrated their troops.
If this prediction tallies with the events in “One Piece” chapter 959, it would certainly offer a massive plot twist and makes Wano arc even more thrilling. On the other hand, it also means that many things should have happened off-screen. It can be recalled that the last time the alliance was shown, no one seemed to have concluded that Orochi has a mole, but Law appeared very cautious and suspicious. It is also hard to totally rule out the possibility that Orochi's plan "the previous night" included the ambush of Luffy's forces in Udon.
‘One Piece’ chapter 959 release date
The toughest part now is waiting for the release of “One Piece” chapter 959. Act 3 opened with a new and major mystery while the raid in Onigashima has yet to happen. Hopefully, all these events will slowly unfold once the next chapter arrives on Oct. 20.
