CoinGecko and exchange spot data showed Optimism (OP) down 6.08% over 24 hours by 5:55 a.m. ET (09:55 UTC) Friday, a larger loss than Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH).
OP traded at $0.1027 at that snapshot. Bitcoin stood at $77,564, down 3.19%, while Ether was at $2,226.34, down 4.01%.
Bitcoin's loss was 2.89 percentage points smaller than OP's, while Ether's was 2.07 points smaller. The figures reflect rolling 24-hour changes, comparing each asset with its price 24 hours earlier rather than its change since Friday began.
An earlier EconoTimes snapshot of OP's 24-hour performance recorded a 4.73% decline at a quote of $0.1123. The observations cover separate rolling windows, so they do not show OP's change between the two readings.
