Oracle Financial Services Software posted the steepest shortfall among four Nifty 500 stocks below their session averages on Oct. 29, in a StockEdge scan reported by The Economic Times.
The company closed at ₹9,939, compared with a volume-weighted average price (VWAP) of ₹10,132.80, a gap of 1.91%. NSE-data-based end-of-day records list those figures and identify the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) as the source of their price data.
Hero MotoCorp closed at ₹5,105 against a VWAP of ₹5,195.33, putting it 1.74% below the benchmark. GMR Airports finished at ₹87.27 versus ₹88.79, a 1.71% gap, while Meesho ended at ₹224.78 compared with ₹227.11, or 1.03% below its VWAP.
The Economic Times reported that the StockEdge scan identified the four Nifty 500 stocks as closing more than 1% below VWAP. The percentages are calculated from the reported closing prices and VWAP figures.
VWAP weights traded prices by the volume of shares exchanged at each price during a session. Comparing a closing price with VWAP shows its position relative to that day’s volume-weighted average; it does not indicate the change from the previous close.
EconoTimes previously covered a four-stock screen below session VWAP led by CreditAccess Grameen.
