Federal Election Commission (FEC) records show $115.9 million in receipts for Sen. Jon Ossoff’s committee as projections placed the Georgia Democrat on course to return to the Senate.
The Associated Press called the Nov. 3 race for Ossoff, while CBS News made a separate projection against Republican Rep. Mike Collins. Georgia was the only state President Donald Trump carried in 2024 where a Democratic senator was seeking reelection, The Associated Press and CBS News reported. EconoTimes previously covered the AP projection of Ossoff’s reelection.
The FEC filing covers Jan. 1, 2025, through Oct. 14, 2026. At the period’s end, the Jon Ossoff for Senate committee listed $15,134,335.92 in cash; receipts totaled $115,904,485.77 and disbursements $105,760,716.56.
Georgia Public Broadcasting reported that Ossoff’s campaign emphasized government corruption and the cost of living. In election-night remarks, Ossoff said Americans had “rebuked the depravity, corruption and incompetence” of President Donald Trump.
Georgia’s calendar sets Nov. 20 as the deadline to certify federal and statewide results.
