LA QUINTA, Calif., March 08, 2017 -- PGA WEST®, one of the world’s most iconic golf and lifestyle communities, has announced plans to build a new 4-acre, multi- generational Sports Club, opening in early 2018.

Heralding a bold new era of innovation, the state-of the-art facility will feature an array of world-class amenities, including a fitness center, spa, a 25-yard lap pool, bocce ball and Petanque courts, a dog park and a drive-up movie area for golf carts. Other exciting features include tennis, pickleball, volleyball and basketball courts, plus a 22-hole putting course, restaurant and a fully stocked open-air bar with fire pit.

While golf will remain the focal point at PGA WEST®, the new Sports Club will be open throughout the year offering curated programs and activities for all ages and interests. Construction is expected to begin in May.
