NEW YORK, Aug. 24, 2017 -- PHI Group, Inc., (www.phiglobal.com) (OTCQB:PHIL), a company focused on acquisitions and investments in natural resources, energy, agriculture, healthcare and special situations, announced today that the Company’s majority owned subsidiary PHI EZ Water Tech, Inc., a Wyoming corporation, has completed the designs of proprietary water treatment systems and will start producing the units for sale to the agriculture market.
Developed by Dr. Martin Nguyen, a Vietnamese-American scientist, the water treatment systems are environmentally friendly, cost-effective and require no energy to operate. They have been proven to greatly benefit the health of livestock and quality of plants, induce seed germination and increase crop yields.
These systems are among a series of products developed by Dr. Nguyen using quantum technology in a combination of disciplines including applied physics, applied water science, biological system engineering and agricultural economics. Incorporating complex electromagnetic force, advanced oxidation, electrocoagulation and ultrasound, they can reduce water consumption by up to 30% and fertilizer usage by 30%-50% while boosting crop yields by 30%-50%. The water produced from these systems is also good for human health and able to stabilize water environments to increase yields for aquatic and wet paddy farming.
PHI Group plans to use these systems for its organic farming program through Abundant Farms, a subsidiary of the Company. In addition, PHI EZ Water Tech will also make them available to users around the world, including farmers in general and growers of hydroponics, medicinal and culinary herbs, cannabis and other specialty crops.
Dr. Nguyen said: “We are glad to launch our innovative systems and make them available to farmers to help increase yields and improve crop quality. We are confident this will prove to be a win-win solution for users, consumers our shareholders.”
Jack Vo, CEO of PHI EZ Water Tech, Inc., stated, “We currently work diligently to meet the demand from Japan and Southeast Asia and will also sell these systems to the U.S. and Europe in the near future. We believe this will generate significant revenues and economic value for our shareholders and all other stakeholders.”
