Quarterly net product revenue more than doubled at PTC Therapeutics, Inc., prompting the drugmaker to raise its 2026 product sales outlook and project total revenue as high as $1.32 billion.

The company now expects product revenue of $960 million to $990 million, up from its previous range of $850 million to $950 million. Its full-year total revenue projection is $1.29 billion to $1.32 billion.

Net product revenue reached $275.9 million in the quarter ended Sept. 30, compared with $131 million in the same quarter a year earlier. Sephience accounted for $181.9 million, a 20% increase from the second quarter. PTC reported more than 2,000 active patients worldwide as of Sept. 30.

Chief Executive Officer Matthew B. Klein linked Sephience’s launch progress to PTC’s goal of reaching cash flow breakeven in 2026, according to the company.

PTC expects to complete the biologics license application (BLA) submission for ST-920 in the fourth quarter of 2026. The company lists potential U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) accelerated approval and a commercial launch for the treatment in 2027.
