Al Jazeera reported that a packed Texas A&M rally for Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico in College Station drew enthusiasm and reservations, as its video examined young voters’ reactions.
The video featured attendees who favored his Senate bid and others who questioned it. Published Nov. 1, the report did not give a numerical crowd count.
Earlier EconoTimes coverage of Talarico’s Oct. 27 Lubbock rally cited Nov. 3 as the date of Texas’ general election.
The report discussed immigration and Trump administration policies as possible voter considerations. An earlier CBS News/YouGov survey put Talarico ahead 51% to 49% among likely voters.
The outlet said the Texas Democrat discussed diversity and immigration reform during his Thursday, Oct. 29, visit, five days before the Nov. 3 election.
Their Oct. 27 events came as in-person early voting approached its Oct. 30 close, one week before the Nov. 3 general election.
