Palantir Technologies Inc. and Knox Systems announced a partnership Monday to help software vendors reach U.S. government and defense customers operating in federal cloud environments.
At the 4 p.m. ET (20:00 UTC) close, Palantir shares were $8.12 higher at $194.15, compared with $186.03 a session earlier. The stock reached $196.99 at its highest point of the day. Monday’s 4.36% rise followed a 7.22% decline in the previous session.
Knox’s announcement describes the partnership as support for software providers whose federal customers have requirements under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) or need an Impact Level 5 (IL5) environment. FedRAMP assesses cloud services for government use. IL5 covers some controlled unclassified defense information and requires stronger protections than IL4.
Knox says its existing authorization pathway has produced results in 90 days or less. Separately, Knox says it serves more than 100 applications spanning AI and enterprise software across federal environments. These figures describe Knox’s existing work, not a deployment timetable for the partnership.
Knox’s own IL5 authorization remains in process, according to its status information, with completion estimated for December 2026. That estimate concerns Knox’s authorization; the partnership announcement sets no date for deployments.
The announcement names no agency purchase and provides no financial terms or revenue target. It also cites no partnership milestone. Palantir has separately scheduled its third-quarter results release for after U.S. markets close Nov. 2, with a webcast at 5 p.m. ET (22:00 UTC).
