About four years after the Pando Rings theft, a wallet Lookonchain linked to the hack routed 4,000 Ether (ETH) through Tornado Cash, a transfer valued at about $9.22 million.

Lookonchain had also flagged the wallet’s Ether acquisition. EconoTimes had covered the wallet identification and purchase earlier.

The position’s average entry price was $2,249 per ETH. It came from converting 16.98 million Dai (DAI) into 7,548 ETH around three days before the Tornado Cash transfer. The 4,000 ETH transfer amounted to just over half of the position.

The 16.98 million DAI figure refers to the acquisition; $9.22 million is the reported value of the later transfer. Tornado Cash operates on Ethereum and can make transaction paths harder to follow. The Pando Rings theft involved assets valued at roughly $22 million.
