Pendle and Centrifuge plan fixed-rate markets for tokenized real-world assets on Base, aiming to improve liquidity and make decentralized finance products more predictable for users.
The proposal combines Centrifuge’s work connecting off-chain assets to blockchain networks with Pendle’s focus on decentralized finance products. The planned markets have not launched.
EconoTimes has previously reported that Pendle’s real-world-asset market count passed 100, with those assets accounting for more than 80% of the platform’s total value locked, or assets held in the protocol.
A separate yield market for Centrifuge’s deJAAA product went live Oct. 21, EconoTimes previously reported. deJAAA is linked to the Janus Henderson Anemoy AAA CLO Fund, and the market is scheduled to mature Nov. 26, 2026.
The next steps for the planned markets are launch and user participation. Trading volume and active-user counts are measures to watch as activity develops.
