Chester, PA, May 25, 2017 -- Recently, Chester Community Charter School (CCCS), the largest K-8 charter school in Pennsylvania, held its 13th annual Parents Award Dinner honoring more than 100 parents and guardians, for their participation in the school’s “Parent Report Card” program and in the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). The event was held, last week, at the Clarion Hotel, in Essington, PA. Parents and guardians in attendance were given the opportunity to win prizes, through a raffle, which included, electronic devices, gift cards and a grand prize family trip to Disney World; Mr. and Mrs. Donald, whose child attends school at the CCCS West Campus, won the grand prize.

Dr. David Clark, the school’s CEO, delivered remarks to the parents and guardians. “CCCS is honored to have an active parent presence, as represented, here, in this room, tonight. Through your continued support of our school and teachers, we are able to foster a caring learning environment for your children.”
“Parent Report Card” is a program that began in 2004. Parents and guardians are graded on their participation in teacher conferences, involvement in the school’s PTA, and their children’s completion of homework, attendance records, and observance of the school’s dress code.
