‘Person of Interest’ is scheduled to air its upcoming sixth episode entitled “A More Perfect Union” that follows Reese and Finch to a wedding after being sent by the Machine to protect POIs before their nuptials.
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the upcoming episode will feature CIA black operations officer John Reese (Jim Caviezel) and billionaire software engineer Harold Finch (Michael Emerson) sent to a wedding to protect a target couple before their nuptials on orders from The Machine.
A short scene from the promo shows an uncomfortable Reese in the midst of a bachelorette party featuring some male stripper entertainment while he is taunted by a woman to take his own clothes off.
Meanwhile, Lionel Fusco (Kevin Chapman) takes on a missing persons investigation on his own after getting increasingly frustrated at always being kept in the dark by the team. Computer hacker Samantha "Root" Groves (Amy Acker) takes it on herself to protect Fusco against Samaritan. She attempts to explain things to Fusco who stays relatively stubborn and unconvinced.
Sameen Shaw (Sarah Shahi) is also seen expressing her anger at recent events through some physical aggression as seen on the released teaser.
According to Yibada, some guest stars will be making appearances in the upcoming action-packed episode including Tom Wiggin, Sarah Wilson, James LeGros, John Nolan, Purva Bedi, and Christina Bennett Lind.
‘Person of Interest’ is a crime-drama and science fiction television series created by Jonathan Nolan. It follows a former CIA agent hired by a billionaire to prevent crimes predicted by an artificially intelligent mass surveillance system called the Machine.
The acclaimed television series earned various accolades and nominations since its premiere in 2011 including a win for Favorite New TV Drama at the People’s Choice Awards in 2012.
The sixth episode of Season 5 is set to air on CBS on May 23, 2016.
