Polish industrial production data for the month of October is set to be released this week. According to an Erste Group Research, the industrial output is likely to have grown 6.5 percent on a year-on-year basis, underpinned by a favourable calendar effect. Furthermore, the market anticipates construction output growth to accelerate and expand 21 percent in the month, after a small performance in September. The cost pressure is expected to have stayed restricted and remained stable around 3 percent.
Meanwhile, Polish retail sales are likely to have rebounded in October and risen 8.2 percent, stated Erste Group Research. The favourable situation on the labor market underpins the high level of household spending, as wage growth in October came in at 7.6 percent year-on-year.
