Polymarket’s Nov. 3 snapshot of its 2026 U.S. midterm House market put two possible Republican seat totals at 28% apiece, a measure of expectations for the party’s post-election strength in the chamber.
The outcome for fewer than 170 seats had climbed 27% over the previous 24 hours, while the 170-to-174 range was up 25%. These are market-implied chances for possible seat totals, not election returns.
The seat-count event is distinct from a separate Polymarket market asking which party will control Congress. An earlier EconoTimes report on the party-control market cited a 72% implied chance of a Democratic sweep on Oct. 30. That contract considered control of both chambers, while these figures concern Republican seat totals in the House. Polymarket prices can shift with trading activity.
All 435 House seats were on the Nov. 3 ballot. The party that wins a majority will control the chamber for the next two-year congressional term.
