SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Sept. 12, 2017 -- Portola Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:PTLA) announced today the pricing of its underwritten public offering of 6,350,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $55.00 per share. In addition, the underwriters of the offering have been granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 952,500 shares from Portola at the public offering price. The offering is expected to close on September 15, 2017, subject to customary closing conditions.
In addition, the company will not be presenting at the 2017 Morgan Stanley Global Healthcare Conference, which was previously scheduled for Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
