Prince Harry, Meghan Markle confirmed for a 6-week break from royal duties; Here’s where they will go with Archie

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are taking some time off from their royal duties and it will begin soon. This was actually reported a few weeks ago but at that time, they were just speculations and assumed to have cropped up after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s ITV documentary was released.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, the couple wants to take a break but they will finish all their remaining duties for this year first before jetting out of the U.K. It was mentioned that before they leave, Harry and Meghan will participate in The Field of Remembrance (Nov. 7), attend the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance (Nov. 9) and lastly, the Remembrance Day Service on Nov. 10.

Where are the Sussexes heading?

With this schedule, this means that the Duke and Duchess will be leaving in the third week of this month. Of course, they will be bringing little Archie with them and they were said to be heading to the U.S. Then again, within their 6-week vacation, they may also visit other places and this is probably a getaway time with their friends.

Since their leave from the royal duties is good for six weeks, it also means that they will not be spending Christmas and the rest of the holidays with the royal family. Prince Harry and Meghan are likely to spend the festive occasion with the former “Suits” star’s mother, Doria Ragland. She lives in California so that will be where Archie is celebrating his first Thanksgiving.

Are the couple moving out of the U.K. for good?

There were rumors that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are giving up their royal life to live quietly away from the Buckingham Palace. It was said that the pair are so beaten up already due to the amount of attention that the media are giving them. What makes it worse is the fact that there are only negative writeups about them especially when it is about the former actress.

“The reality I found was just a couple that seemed a bit bruised and vulnerable,” ITV’s Tom Bradby said in an interview before he released the royal couple’s documentary. “That was the story I found.”

Following the revelations, Prince Harry and Meghan are said to be considering moving out and give up their royal titles. This speculation was fueled by the reports that the two are looking for a home to buy in America or Canada. But then, there is no announcement about the Sussexes permanent move in another country so they will surely be back to the U.K. after their break and continue their duties as part of the royal family.
