SAN JOSE, Calif., March 27, 2018 -- Veriflow today announced that RCR Wireless News has named Veriflow a Top Five Intent-Based Networking Vendor. Reporter Nathan Cranford said in his March 22, 2018, article, “While many have dismissed intent-based networking (IBN) as another marketing buzzword, the technology has gained momentum over the past couple years.” In addition to Veriflow, the other four vendors in his story included Cisco, Juniper, Huawei and Apstra.
“As Nathan noted, vendors are shifting their focus from software-defined networking (SDN) to intent-based networking. The technology has really started to take hold in the last two years,” said James Brear, CEO of Veriflow. “Both Gartner and Cisco have called intent-based networking the ‘next big thing.’ We firmly believe that IBN and network verification offer our customers a true business-driven approach that continually verifies the network is aligned to desired outcomes.”
Veriflow’s Continuous Network Verification platform is built specifically to enable enterprises, government agencies and service providers to reduce downtime and improve protection by eliminating outages and vulnerabilities in the network. The Veriflow platform reduces opex by automating manual processes and freeing up network resources to focus on more strategic tasks, and it improves compliance by dynamically mapping, automatically documenting and auditing the network.
