Why are we here? What is our purpose? Be a part of a crazy experiment of looking at the world through a spiritual lens to see the possibilities of a united world. Explore vital topics in different workshops throughout the day and empower each other on how to address issues like:
- healing racism
- equality between women and men
- environmental justice
- art as service

Rainn Wilson is a highly acclaimed actor, perhaps best known for his Emmy-nominated portrayal of Dwight Schrute on the television comedy The Office. He has also acted in "Super", "Cooties", "Juno", "Monsters Vs Aliens" and "The Rocker" among other movies. After attending both Tufts University and the University of Washington, he studied acting at New York University’s graduate acting program. He subsequently spent years doing theater on and off-Broadway, on tours with the Acting Company, and performing in regional theater.
This event is part of the Light of Unity Festival, a nine-week series of events celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Birth of Baha'u'llah, Founder of the Baha'i Faith. From September 10 to November 12, 2017, the Baha'i House of Worship in Wilmette, IL, is collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations to host these events and share some of the unifying principles of the Baha'i Faith: race unity, gender equality, harmony of science and religion, and the oneness of humankind.
