LOWELL, Mass., April 05, 2016 -- Rapid Micro Biosystems, a leading provider of automated, non-destructive, rapid microbial detection, is pleased to announce the addition of Steven Raters as Vice President of Global Technical Services. Steven will report directly to the CEO, Robert Spignesi.
Mr. Raters brings over 25 years of customer service experience in the medical device and diagnostics industry. Most recently, he held the position of Senior Director of Service Transformation in Latin America at bioMérieux, where he focused on standardization and optimization of service delivery in a high sales growth region. Mr. Raters held multiple service and operations leadership roles at bioMérieux, including managing a team of almost 200 customer support, field application and field service employees. Mr. Raters’ prior roles included positions at Organon Teknika Corp and with the United Sates Navy.
