Regent Seven Seas Cruises has set a $25,000 nightly starting fare for the Skyview Regent Suite, as Cruise Industry News projects continued expansion in the luxury cruise fleet.
The company’s June 2025 announcement describes a two-level suite for up to six guests. Its 8,794 square feet include 3,703 square feet of balcony space. Regent calls $25,000 a starting fare; the release does not specify taxes, fees or a sailing-specific quote.
In a July 8, 2025, release, Regent said the Skyview Regent Suite sold out on six of Seven Seas Prestige’s 13 inaugural-season sailings when reservations opened on June 25. The company also said first-day bookings for the ship were 26% above its previous launch-day record, set by Seven Seas Splendor in 2018. The six-voyage figure concerns the suite on particular sailings; the 26% comparison covers bookings for the whole ship on opening day.
Cruise Industry News’ 2026 Luxury Market Report forecasts at least 130 luxury cruise ships by 2036, up from 104 in 2026. The publication cites new ships entering service, brands built around different travel styles and established operators shifting their focus toward luxury as factors in the forecast. Separately, the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) counted 28 luxury cruise ships in 2010 and 97 in 2024.
Regent lists Seven Seas Prestige at 77,000 tons, with capacity for 822 guests and 630 crew. The company puts the ship’s size 40% above its previous vessels, with planned guest capacity 10% higher. In a November 2025 release, Regent listed starting fares of $15,000 per night for existing Explorer Class Regent Suites, which it described as more than 5,000 square feet. The two fare disclosures do not provide matching itinerary or booking terms for a direct price comparison.
Seven Seas Prestige is scheduled to make its maiden voyage on Dec. 13, 2026.
