Blockchain startup Etherparty has announced that renowned blockchain expert William Mougayar is joining its Board of Advisors.
Mougayar, the author of The Business Blockchain, joins other known blockchain experts Anthony Di Iorio, Scott Wilson, Michael Perklin, and Moe Levinon Etherparty's board of advisors.
"Etherparty is helping popularize an array of use cases for smart contracts, while lowering the barriers of entry for user adoption," Mougayar said. "I'm keen to support a Canadian company that is following the right procedures in token generation, while delivering a much needed utility to the blockchain market."
Etherparty is focused on developing tools for the global community of blockchain users to easily use and explore the possibilities of this technology. This month, it invited over 500 pre-registered beta users into its program, which has so far helped launch hundreds of smart contracts on Ethereum's Ropsten testnet.
"William has been a positive voice in the blockchain space as he continues to advocate for greater operational transparency and regulatory innovation in token-based models via best practices," said Kevin Hobbs, CEO of the Etherparty "His influence and knowledge will help us make Etherparty the leading smart contract platform globally."
