Revvity, Inc. raised its 2026 pro forma adjusted earnings-per-share forecast to $5.40 to $5.45 after third-quarter revenue increased, though its two businesses reported contrasting sales trends.
The new forecast raises the lower end of Revvity’s previous $5.30 to $5.40 range by 10 cents and the upper end by 5 cents. The company now expects about $2.86 billion in pro forma revenue, matching the top of its earlier $2.83 billion to $2.86 billion range. Its outlook for pro forma organic revenue growth is about 5%, compared with a previous range of 4% to 5%.
For the quarter ended Oct. 4, Revvity reported revenue of $728.9 million, up from $698.9 million a year earlier. Pro forma revenue totaled $709.6 million. Both pro forma revenue and pro forma organic revenue grew 7%, according to the company.
Earnings per share from continuing operations under generally accepted accounting principles rose to 56 cents from 41 cents a year earlier. Adjusted earnings per share from continuing operations was $1.38, while pro forma adjusted earnings per share was $1.37. Those are separate measures from the company’s reported and pro forma revenue figures.
The segments’ reported sales moved in opposite directions. Life Sciences generated $380 million, compared with $343 million a year earlier; Diagnostics brought in $349 million, compared with $356 million. On a pro forma basis, revenue grew 11% in Life Sciences and 4% in Diagnostics.
Revvity President and CEO Prahlad Singh said the quarterly results exceeded the company’s expectations, citing growth across its businesses and execution.
The pro forma outlook excludes Revvity’s China Immunodiagnostics business, known as China IDX, which accounted for about 6% of fiscal 2025 revenue. Revvity expects to complete its planned divestiture by the end of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions. The company plans to hold an Investor Day on Nov. 13.
