Ripple USD (RLUSD) reserves stood $145.2 million above circulating supply in an Oct. 22 snapshot, comparing reserve funds with outstanding tokens rather than trading activity.

Circulation totaled $2.3828 billion, against $2.528 billion in reserves. Reserves were about 6.1% above circulation.

RLUSD is a stablecoin designed to maintain a stable value. The snapshot gives separate totals for circulation and reserves; it does not show how much RLUSD changed hands on decentralized exchanges.

New York includes RLUSD on its list of assets virtual currency entities are approved to issue. The listing addresses issuance eligibility, while the Oct. 22 figures record circulation and reserves.
