Ripple’s three-day Swell conference begins Oct. 27 in Manhattan, combining institutional-finance discussions with sessions on XRP Ledger development and academic research in a single program.

The program combines Swell with two related events: Apex, which focuses on XRP Ledger developers, and UBRI Connect, an academic conference for Ripple’s University Blockchain Research Initiative. It lists more than 80 sessions across three stages and projected attendance of more than 1,500.

Among the listed speakers are Water.org co-founders Matt Damon and Gary White, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, and Tom Farley, Bullish’s chairman and CEO. The agenda also gives David Schwartz and Ayo Akinyele a session focused on the XRP Ledger’s future.

The three tracks are Institutional, Ecosystem and Innovation. Their subjects span digital-asset markets, stablecoins, payments, tokenization, artificial intelligence, bank infrastructure and XRP Ledger development.

Ripple has pointed to earlier Swell editions as occasions for major product and partnership announcements. The 2026 schedule lists discussion topics but no specific product release or partnership announcement.

The program is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Oct. 27, and end Oct. 29.
