Beard is a successful entrepreneur founding Aegis Business Credit and Aileron companies. His skills and expertise include asset based lending, mortgage lending, and strategic planning.

Barrett, President and Chief Executive Officer of First Citrus Bank. “His entrepreneurial bent towards asset-based lending and other financial lines of business inherently brings synergies to our Company as well.”

Beard has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1972. He received two Bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance from Florida State University. Beard holds an active Florida CPA license and FINRA series 27 designation, and was a member of Vistage for twelve years.
