Travis assumes the practice leadership from Armin Meier, Managing Partner of Boyden Switzerland, who led Boyden’s Global Industrial Practice for six years. Meier expanded the team into the firm’s largest global practice.
Travis, who previously served three terms as a Boyden Global Board Member, is an accomplished search professional with more than 20 years of experience in leadership consulting. He has built a prestigious client portfolio and currently manages leadership advisory projects for global organizations in the energy (oil and gas), manufacturing & fabrication and technology subsectors.
“In his ten years with Boyden, Robert has built an impressive practice in the US and Canada, particularly with global-oriented growth companies,” said Trina Gordon, President and CEO of Boyden. “He brings considerable expertise to further expand our Industrial Practice with the full confidence of our global partners as a trusted client advisor.”
Boyden’s Global Industrial Practice searches include:
- Automotive, Energy/Mining, Infrastructure & Transportation and Manufacturing
- Functional expertise including Boards, CEO, CFO, COO, Head of HR, Chief Digital Officers, Supply Chain and IoT-savvy senior executives
- Global executive assessment, succession planning and talent development
“We are proud that Boyden’s Global Industrial Practice has been such a strong contributor to the firm’s year-over-year growth,” said Travis. “In close collaboration with our partners, I look forward to further enhancing Boyden’s global practice, developing our subsectors, and expanding our footprint in key client markets across the Americas, EMEA and Asia/Pacific.”
Last month, Forbes ranked Boyden eighth among 250 organizations on its new list of America's Best Executive Recruiting Firms.
