NEW YORK, Sept. 30, 2016 -- Rosen Law Firm, a global investor rights law firm, reminds purchasers of Warren Resources, Inc. securities (OTC:WRESQ) from November 4, 2014 through June 2, 2016, both dates inclusive (the “Class Period”). The lawsuit seeks to recover damages for Warren Resources investors under the federal securities laws of the important October 11, 2016 lead plaintiff deadline in the class action.

According to the lawsuit, throughout the Class Period defendants issued false and misleading statements to investors that Warren Resources was “well positioned” to “ride out” and “successfully navigate” the “market fluctuations,” when, in fact, Warren was becoming increasingly insolvent. As a result, defendants’ statements about Warren Resources business, operations, and prospects were false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis. Warren filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on June 2, 2016. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.
A class action lawsuit has already been filed. If you wish to serve as lead plaintiff, you must move the Court no later than October 11, 2016. A lead plaintiff is a representative party acting on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation.
