SK hynix American depositary receipts fell 3.95% in U.S. premarket trading Oct. 20, the largest drop among nine AI-related stocks with reported declines.

The receipts had risen 4.67% in Monday’s regular session. Their premarket move was separate from the longer retreat in SK hynix’s Seoul-listed shares, which were down 31.1% from their Sept. 30 close as of Oct. 20. The broader Korean market selloff has unfolded amid concerns about returns on AI infrastructure spending.

Storage stocks were among the reported decliners. Micron Technology fell 2.18%, Sandisk lost 2.13% and Seagate Technology slipped 0.76%. These were premarket figures, not closing prices.

Applied Optoelectronics fell 3.66% before the open after rising 3.48% Monday. Among the other reported declines, Nokia was down 1.21% and Marvell Technology 2.04%, while Lumentum lost 2.09% and Coherent fell 2.22%.

Sandisk has scheduled its fiscal first-quarter earnings call for Oct. 29.
