SmashFly has appointed IT industry veterans Thom Kenney as Chief Technology Officer and Jon Finnimore as Chief Security Officer, Vice President, Technical Operations. Additional hires include Jeff Wilmot, Senior Vice President of Sales and Robert Mattson, Vice President of Marketing.
Thom Kenney, Chief Technology Officer
Thom leads the company's product, engineering, and operations teams. Thom brings over 20 years of experience leading product and technology teams in high growth companies. As CTO, Thom will drive execution of the product and technology evolution to support aggressive growth as well as integrate machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities into the platform to bring advanced personalization and targeting capabilities unlike anything else seen in the marketplace today. His experience in building transformative teams has resulted in significant market success most recently at LogMeIn and Applause.
Jon Finnimore, Chief Security Officer and Vice President, Technical Operations
Jon joins SmashFly as a 16-year veteran of Monster, where he held several technology leadership roles, most recently as Associate Vice President of Product Engineering and Security where he oversaw product development, software engineering, operations, security and quality assurance teams. Jon previously held technical roles at Xalient, Inc. and Knowledge Impact, Inc.
Jeff Wilmot, Senior Vice President of Sales
Jeff has more than 17 years of experience leading software field sales, sales operations and inside sales. Prior to joining SmashFly, Jeff was the Vice President of Eastern U.S. and Canadian Sales at Instart Logic, a Silicon Valley startup. Jeff had a 15-year career at PTC where he led large field sales, global inside sales and sales operations groups and was the Country Manager for India while living in Bangalore. Jeff is a leader dedicated to building world-class sales teams, recruiting high caliber talent and providing an environment for them to offer unmatched customer success.
Robert Mattson, Vice President of Marketing
Robert began his career in software development and leverages his understanding of technology solutions and customer challenges to drive his focus on corporate storytelling. At SmashFly he’s responsible for leading the marketing team with a focus on process and metric-driven marketing balanced with creativity and innovation. He has worked in the technology space for over 25 years, with a focus on HCM solutions at companies such as ADP, Ceridian and Workscape.
