Safe Surroundings NE, LLC, Joins Sinfonía Family Services

TUCSON, Ariz., Feb. 15, 2016 -- Safe Surroundings NE, LLC, has merged with Sinfonia Family Services of New Hampshire to expand services to include substance prevention, treatment and recovery. All programs formally offered under Safe Surroundings NE will now be offered by the new company Sinfonia Family Services of New Hampshire.  Sinfonía Family Services of New Hampshire is a division of Sinfonía HealthCare Corporation headquartered in Tucson, Arizona. 

Melissa Fernald LICSW, MLADC, the founder of Safe Surroundings NE, will now assume the role of State Director of Sinfonia Family Services of New Hampshire. Melissa brings over 18 years of experience in the field of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.  Over the past year Melissa has created new and innovative services that promote awareness and early intervention of Substance Use issues for parents, educators, policy makers and communities across the state.  In addition to her prevention and advocacy work she has provided individual, family, and group behavioral health, substance use, and co-occurring services. “I am thrilled to be a part of Sinfonia Family Services and I am deeply committed to meeting the needs in our community and will continue to evaluate treatment needs and strive to fulfill them,” says Melissa.
