Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 might boast a bigger cover screen, challenging leaked renders. Rumors swirl around its features, including a powerful camera setup and enhanced durability.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6: Rumored Upgrades Hint at Bigger Screen and Enhanced Camera
Continuing its streak of innovative design, Samsung introduced a completely revamped look for the Galaxy Z Flip lineup last year. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 boasted a 3.4-inch cover screen, a significant upgrade from the 1.9-inch on its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 4. However, a recent leak from @TheGalox_ suggests that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 might push further boundaries with a 3.9-inch cover screen. This contradicts the leaked renders showing a 3.4-inch screen, leaving us all in suspense about what Samsung has in store for us.
According to a source, Sam Mobile reports that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is rumored to sport a powerful 50MP + 12MP dual-camera setup on the back, promising stunning photography capabilities. It might also come with Gorilla Glass Armor on the cover screen, ensuring durability without compromising style. While the 50MP primary camera setup seems plausible, including Gorilla Glass Armor on the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is a feature that's hard to believe.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy processor. According to rumors, the phone could have 12GB of RAM and a better cooling system. It reportedly has a 4,000mAh battery, an improved hinge, a better internal layout, and seven years of Android OS updates.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Tab S10+ Battery Certifications Hint at Imminent Launch
Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 globally in July last year. 91 Mobiles reports that their successors will be announced soon, and it appears that Samsung will also bring its upcoming foldables to India. 91mobiles discovered the battery model of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 on the BIS certification website, alongside the battery of the Galaxy Tab S10+.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Tab S10+ BIS Details
-
91mobiles has spotted the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Tab S10+ battery models on the BIS certification website.
-
While we are likely a few months away from the launch, it does suggest the company has started working on the flagship models.
-
The BIS certification reveals that the Galaxy Flip 6's battery will have the model numbers EB-BF742ABE and EB-BF742ABY, while the Tab S10+ bears the model numbers EB-BX828ABE and EB-BX828ABY, respectively.
-
Leakster Roland Quandt tipped the model numbers of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Tab S10+ devices could be SM-F956, SM-F741, and SM-X828, respectively. This coincides with the model numbers of the batteries that have appeared on BIS.
Recent rumors suggest the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 will feature larger displays than previous generations. According to rumors, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 cover display could be 3.6 inches, rather than the 3.4-inch cover screen on the Fip 5.
The Samsung Z Flip 6 is also expected to feature notable camera improvements. The company has reportedly begun testing prototype models equipped with a 50MP primary camera, compared to the Galaxy Z Flip 5's 12MP camera. Nothing else is known about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 or Galaxy Tab S10+ right now. Keep an eye out for updates.
