Sanofi India Limited’s profit after tax rose 53.6% in the September quarter as its board declared a ₹75 interim dividend and set Nov. 5 as the record date.

Unaudited results for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026, showed profit after tax of ₹1.167 billion, compared with ₹760 million a year earlier. Earnings per share was ₹50.67, up from ₹32.99. Sanofi India follows a January-to-December financial year, making the September period its third quarter.

Revenue from operations increased 3.4% to ₹4.917 billion from ₹4.754 billion. The company separately reported total net sales growth of 4% and domestic net sales growth of 2%. Its insulin portfolio grew 9%, public-sector business increased 85%, and exports recorded double-digit growth.

Profit before tax and exceptional items rose 22% to ₹1.58 billion from ₹1.30 billion. Sanofi said this measure represented 34% of net sales, compared with 29% in the year-earlier quarter.

The company attributed improved gross margins to product mix, a one-time reversal of provisions and cost controls. Employee and other operating expenses were 8% lower than a year earlier. The quarter ended Sept. 30, 2025, had an exceptional ₹273 million charge related to personnel separations, according to the results filing.

The interim dividend applies to financial year 2026 and is for each equity share with a face value of ₹10. The Nov. 5 record date will determine eligibility using the company’s register of members and depository records of beneficial owners.
