Satoshi Note’s Satoshi Index seven-day group was 92% short by position value at 6:48 p.m. ET Oct. 22 (22:48 UTC), a sharp shift in the tally.
The reported figures showed about $283 million in long positions and $3.30 billion in shorts. A reading at 3:13 a.m. ET Oct. 22 (07:13 UTC), about 15½ hours earlier, put the group at $1.54 billion long and $586 million short, or 72% long.
An earlier EconoTimes story on the index reported a 76% long share at 11:48 p.m. ET Oct. 21 (03:48 UTC Oct. 22).
In the same reported snapshot as the 92% figure, the 24-hour group had about $216 million long and $3.19 billion short, or 94% short. The 30-day group had about $335 million long and $3.49 billion short, or 91% short.
Satoshi Note’s public dashboard lists 24-hour, seven-day and 30-day performance rankings and says the data updates periodically. It identifies public records from Hyperliquid, Lighter, dYdX and Pacifica as data sources. Because rankings select accounts by performance and membership may change between updates, the comparison does not show whether any individual trader switched positions.
