The seven-day group’s reported long share rose to 11% from 8%, but changing rankings do not show whether individual traders changed positions.

An Oct. 23 Satoshi Note tally put short positions at 89% to 92.5% of combined exposure across three performance groups.

At 3:13 a.m. ET (07:13 UTC) Friday, the seven-day group was reported to hold about $402 million in long positions and $3.20 billion in shorts, or about 89% short by position value. A reading at 6:48 p.m. ET (22:48 UTC) Thursday put the group at about $283 million long and $3.30 billion short. The comparison showed long exposure up about $119 million and short exposure down about $100 million. EconoTimes previously covered the Oct. 22 reading.

The reported 24-hour group held about $245 million long and $3.02 billion short, making it 92.5% short. The 30-day group had about $335 million in longs and $3.50 billion in shorts, or about 91% short. The reported unrealized losses were about $64 million for the 24-hour group, $44 million for the seven-day group and $53 million for the 30-day group.

Satoshi Note uses unrealized P&L to estimate the gain or loss positions would show if closed at current prices, so those figures do not establish realized losses. Its rankings select accounts by performance over 24-hour, seven-day and 30-day windows. Membership can change between readings, meaning the aggregate movements do not establish that the same traders changed positions.

Satoshi Note’s public index lists Hyperliquid, Lighter, dYdX and Pacifica among its data sources.

The dashboard cautions, “Shorts held by accounts with large spot holdings may be hedges rather than directional bets.” The reported percentages describe position value and do not establish that all short positions were directional bets.
