On Friday, Nov. 6, the Saudi-led coalition reported missile and drone interceptions in three parts of the kingdom: two missiles bound for Najran and drones in Mecca and Riyadh. The locations ranged from the southwest and west to the capital region.

The coalition attributed both missiles to the Houthi group and said they were headed for Najran province in the southwest; its forces destroyed them. Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki, the coalition spokesman, said officials were checking for damage after fragments fell. Saudi Civil Defense warned people in Najran, then later said the threat had ended.

Al-Maliki also reported that a drone had been brought down in the Mecca region. He gave no initial update on whether anyone was hurt or anything was damaged.

In a separate post on X, Al-Maliki said a drone had been intercepted in the area around Riyadh and provided no other information.
