The Saudi-led coalition said it destroyed two ballistic missile launchers in Sanaa, one of which it said had launched a ballistic missile toward Riyadh, according to a statement published by Saudi Press Agency.

The statement attributed the announcement to coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Malki. The coalition’s claim follows its Oct. 23 announcement that it intercepted a Houthi missile aimed at Riyadh, covered in EconoTimes’ Oct. 23 Riyadh interception report.

Anadolu Agency reported that Houthi forces took Sanaa and other provinces in 2014, before a Saudi-led coalition intervened the following year.
