‘Scandal’ season 6’s episode 8, titled “A Stomach for Blood,” will put focus on Abby as the events leading to her treachery is told in her perspective. The upcoming episode will also expose Abby’s biggest secret. Meanwhile, Huck’s fate is also set to be revealed following the shooting incident.
The short synopsis for “A Stomach for Blood” posted on TV Guide reads, “The events from election night are retold from Abby's (Darby Stanchfield) perspective, revealing a formidable thirst for power and an explosive secret she's been keeping.”
The upcoming episode will be an important one for Darby Stanchfield’s character as it will put more emphasis on Abby’s perspective during the night of the election. According to International Business Times, episode 8 will delve deeper into Abby’s real motives for killing off Jennifer (Chelsea Kurtz) and Huck (Guillermo Diaz).
In the previous episode, titled "A Traitor Among Us," it was revealed that the chief of staff was the one who tasked Meg (Phoebe Neidhardt) to kill go after Jennifer and Huck. Meg proceeded to shoot Jennifer and Huck, but Huck’s survival remains a possibility.
Meanwhile, the cast of ‘Scandal’ revealed more about the upcoming 100th episode during PaleyFest. According to Variety, Tony Goldwin teased, ““What can we expect in the 100th episode?... It’s insane. It’s a ‘what if?’ episode.” Goldwin plays President Fitz Grant III in the American television series.
He then pointed to co-star Kerry Washington and said, “One of the reasons we maintain this sense of family is the woman sitting to my right. She’s the greatest team captain.” Washington plays lead character Olivia Pope, a crisis manager who runs her own firm that specializes in politics.
The 100th episode is scheduled to air on April 13 and will be directed by Sharat Raju and written by Johanna Lee.
‘Scandal’ season 6’s episode 8, titled “A Stomach for Blood,” is scheduled to be released on ABC on March 30, 2017. It was directed by Oliver Bokelberg and written by Severiano Canales. It will be followed by episode 9, titled "Dead in the Water," directed by Nicole Rubio and scheduled to air on April 6.
