‘Shadowhunters’ season 2’s episode 6, titled "Iron Sisters," is set to feature Clary and Isabelle as they embark on a mission to the Citadel to ask the Iron Sisters for help. Meanwhile, Simon and Maia continue their search for Luke, who remains missing following the attack on the Institute.
The synopsis for “Iron Sister” posted on TV Guide reads, “Clary (Katherine McNamara) and Isabelle (Emeraude Toubia) visit the Iron Sisters in search of information regarding Valentine's (Alan van Sprang) plan.
Elsewhere, Simon (Alberto Rosende) and Maia (Alisha Wainwright) search for Luke (Isaiah Mustafa), who went missing during the attack on the Institute; and Magnus (Harry Shum Jr.) and Alec (Matthew Daddario) go on their first date.”
The upcoming episode is set to focus on the Iron Sisters. In the original books by Cassandra Clare, the Iron Sisters is an organization of female Shadowhunters that forge their own weapons and live in solitude at the Adamant Citadel. Their founder was Abigail Shadowhunter and they are considered the counterpart of the Silent Brothers.
Their most notable members include Sister Cleophas, Sister Dolores, and Sister Magdalena. These group of craftswomen are private and elusive and would prefer to work in isolation.
Clary and Isabelle will need to go on a mission to visit the Iron Sister to gather more truths about Valentine’s plan. In addition to this, some revelations about themselves are also bound to come into the light, according to Blasting News.
Meanwhile, Simon and Maia also embark on a mission of their own as they attempt to find Luke, who remains missing following the demon’s deadly attack at the Institute.
Things seem to be looking up for Alec and Magnus as they are set to go on their first date. It would be interesting to watch their relationship go forward.
‘Shadowhunters’ season 2’s episode 6, titled "Iron Sisters," is scheduled to air on Freeform on February 6, 2017. It will be followed by episode 7, titled "How Are Thou Fallen," scheduled for February 13.
