Shanghai Electric presented 19 integrated solutions at the China International Industry Fair (CIIF) 2026, covering artificial intelligence, robotics, computing and energy equipment for industrial production and power generation. The event ran Oct. 12-16 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), according to the company’s release.
The company said one computing rack uses two-phase liquid cooling, provides more than 200 kilowatts of cooling capacity and can increase computing density fivefold. Its robotics components spanned five types, including bearings, fasteners, screws, joint modules and dexterous hands. Shanghai Electric cited a miniature bearing with a 0.6-millimeter inner diameter and a robotic hand with 22 degrees of freedom.
For wind equipment, the company described artificial intelligence applications across design, manufacturing, operation and maintenance. It also presented a lithium-battery production-line system for use across the manufacturing process.
Shanghai Electric said its cloud-edge energy-management system uses artificial intelligence to forecast power generation and demand, then coordinate multiple energy sources. The company reported continuous off-grid operation in applications that included oilfield microgrids.
The company said its in-house gas-turbine control system was exhibited at CIIF for the first time and commissioned at Shenzhen Energy’s Ganlu project in June 2026. Its gas-fired offerings range from 75 to 800 megawatts in simple- and combined-cycle configurations. Shanghai Electric also reported completing a hydrogen-blending demonstration on an operating large F-class turbine, which it described as China’s first.
The nuclear equipment display covered Hualong One, Guohe One, high-temperature gas-cooled reactors and fusion equipment. Shanghai Electric said it achieved 36 breakthroughs in key manufacturing technologies, established four core manufacturing capabilities and obtained 15 patents in nuclear fusion.
The Shanghai State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission said Shanghai Electric had exhibited at every CIIF edition since the fair began, covering 26 editions. The commission grouped the company’s 2026 display into eight business segments.
