Shell set its third-quarter 2026 interim dividend at $0.3906 per ordinary share, maintaining the prior-quarter amount and establishing dates shareholders need to receive the distribution.
Shell announced the dividend on Oct. 29 and scheduled payment for Dec. 21. The per-share amount is unchanged from the second-quarter dividend.
Ordinary shares go ex-dividend on Nov. 12. American depositary shares (ADSs) go ex-dividend on Nov. 13, which is also the record date.
The ADS dividend is $0.7812. Each ADS covers two ordinary shares, and Shell says ADS payments default to U.S. dollars. Shareholders may elect to receive payment in U.S. dollars, euros or pounds sterling.
Shell is scheduled to announce the euro and sterling amounts on Dec. 7. The deadline to elect a currency is 11 a.m. GMT on Nov. 27. Shell’s notice says different deadlines may apply to some holders, including those holding shares through Euroclear Nederland.
