In a significant step, Lithuanian fintech business CoinGate has announced the integration of SHIB support for Polygon and Binance Smart Chain (BSC).

According to U.Today, this move strengthened SHIB's market position and expanded its practical utility, as major brands such as Airbnb and Nike are now available to SHIB holders. CoinGate, a cryptocurrency payment gateway, connects cryptocurrencies and regular businesses, allowing retailers to accept digital assets as payment for goods and services.

CoinGate's support for SHIB on Polygon and Binance Smart Chain improves accessibility and opens up a myriad of opportunities for SHIB holders to engage in real-world transactions.

"We have added SHIB support for Polygon and Binance Smart Chain. Shibarmy, use your SHIB to book Airbnb, grab the latest games from Steam & PS5, refresh your wardrobe with Nike & Zalando, and more," CoinGate announced in a tweet.

With Airbnb, Nike, Zalando, Steam, and PS5 now available, SHIB users may use their holdings to book lodgings, buy clothes, play the latest games, and enjoy a variety of goods from these global titans.

This integration highlights cryptocurrencies' growing acceptability and demonstrates SHIB's versatility as a medium of exchange outside of speculative trading.

The decision to support SHIB on Polygon and Binance Smart Chain remains crucial, increasing SHIB's exposure. SHIB Payments Streamlined in NFT Markets and Beyond with NOWPayments Integration

Last year's reports Shiba Inu (SHIB) is currently accepted as payment on NFT markets using the NOWPayments service.

In a blog post, cryptocurrency payment gateway NOWPayment describes how NFT marketplaces can integrate SHIB payments.

This can be accomplished using "Custodial Recurring Payments," a solution specifically created for NFT marketplaces and associated platforms. It enables any marketplace to generate billing accounts for its customers, which they may fund via SHIB. As previously indicated, the tool allows SHIB holders and enterprises to make subscription payments to Netflix and other services by creating separate billing accounts that may be topped up with SHIB as a payment mechanism.

Wirex, which has over five million clients and has already incorporated SHIB, can offer crypto-enabled debit and prepaid cards in over 40 countries.

According to U.Today, the cryptocurrency payment app will include Shiba Inu on its platform in March 2022.

Wirex said that it has formed a long-term worldwide partnership with Visa to extend its presence in the United Kingdom and Asia-Pacific (APAC). The announcement enhances the two companies' already-established collaboration, which includes Wirex holding primary membership status with Visa in Europe and a crypto-linked Visa debit card in the United States.
